50% merlot 50% cabernet franc
Manually harvested from 3 hectares spread over a batch of parcels of land. A sandy cover on top of a deep dense clay subsoil. The vines are between 20 and 40 years old with 70% being 40 years old. Each individual parcel is vinified separatley in 400 litre barrels and in small thermo-regulated stainless steel vats. A plunging technique is used.The wine is aged for 12 months, 40% in new barrels.
