Andrew graduated with a degree in English and History before being bitten by the wine bug. He worked for Oddbins in Southampton in the early 1980’s before moving to London and becoming the Food & Wine buyer at Bentalls of Kingston. He then joined Selfridges and was their Wine buyer for 10 years, where the McKinley Vintners team tried desperately to sell to him! Andrew ‘swapped sides’ joining McKinley Vintners in 2007, he now oversees the office and sales teams. Outside work he is mean petanque player, and enjoys reading, cycling, table football, going to the cinema and swimming with his three daughters. But his love of wine is never far away and he can often be heard on a Monday morning enthusiastically describing a food & wine matching success from the weekend!
