In 1982 Fréderic Prain took over this Domaine which is fabulously situated on the upper slopes of the hillside above Premier Cru Côte de Lechet. The grapes are harvested as late as possible to obtain maximum ripeness and, after fermentation, the wine is kept on its lees for several months before being bottled. Fréderic sells a proportion of his crop to negoçiants keeping the best selection for his own Domaine.

The small parcel of Côte de Lechet which we negotiated last year has been an excellent addition to our portfolio and is a stunning example of Premier Cru Chablis – crisp and beautifully balanced.
