| The 'Coeur de Lion' estate is located at the heart of the Auge region (the Paye d'Auge). The first distillery was established by Christian Drouin at Gonneville-sur-Honfleur, but such was the success of their Calvados that his son, Christian, moved the facilities to a larger space. Distillerie des Fiefs Sainte Anne is now based at Coudray-Rabut, in a former stud farm. In addition to the non-vintage Calvados, we are proud to have a collection of award-winning older vintages that truly vie for attention after dinner. Coeur de Lion also produces a superb pommeau, eau-de-vie and cidre - all traditionally made, unfiltered, using ripe sweet fruit from the region - that will appeal to both cocktail drinkers and lovers of unusual digestifs alike. |
