Located on the border of the Nuits St Georges appellation a few metres from Vosne Romanée, Christophe Drag heads this family run domaine with his wife Christine, the daughter of Jean Chavenet. Christophe’s wines are characterised by concentration, freshness and finesse. He achieves this by de-steming all his grapes, a pre-fermentation proceeding a long maceration and refraining from racking in order to extract and preserve complex aromas and flavours in all his wines.
Despite coming to viticulture later then many others Christophe is fully involved with the local wine industry. He is a board member of the Nuits St Georges Wine Syndicate and a member of the Commission des Rendements (Yield Commission).
