A recent addition to the Bourgogne de Vigne en Verre portfolio, this Domaine is situated in the village of Premeaux-Prissey, just outside Nuits-Saint-Georges. The Chezeaux family established the property in 1971 and Jérôme has been in charge since 1993. The estate covers 12 hectares of vineyard, all within the Côte de Nuits AC.
Jerome trained at the Lycée Viticole in Beaune. While his vinification is traditional in approach, he is very aware of the demands of the international market. Every wine in the Chezeaux portfolio is carefully nurtured, as these two Vosne-Romanée wines demonstrate so well. Appreciated above all for their elegance, mellowness and discreet tannins, they reflect the very essence of their terroir and are characterised by pronounced aromas of wild cherries, strawberries, violets and nutmeg.
