The Cave des Vignerons de Mancey is located in the northern Mâconnais just a few kilometres from Tournus and the Sâone river. Under the dynamic leadership of director Bernard Derain the cave’s 80 members strive to produce distinctive, quality-driven wines that reflect the individual characteristics of the eight communes surrounding Tournus. The cave’s quality focus sees them limit yields, selecting only the best grapes, searching for the best vineyard sites and continually reviewing the methods that they use in the vineyard and winery.
We have recently added the wines from Domaine Moreau to our list - both the Chardonnay and Pinot Noir are fantastic examples of what the domaine can achieve and offer great basic burgundy wines at excellent value for money.
