Owned by an English family since 1971, the Château La Croix de Grézard produces well made, straightforward wines that are perfect for everyday drinking.
The property consists of 10 hectares of vineyards located on the sandy clay soils of the Lussac St Emilion appellation and a further 6 hectares of Bordeaux appellation vineyards that are used to create the properties second wine – the Champ de Grenet.
In recent years the wines produced here have come on in leaps and bounds. With the help of winemaker Michel Danlos and wine consultant Bill Bolter the wines have become increasingly fruit driven, soft and balanced with increasingly consistent quality from year to year.
These wines offer exceptional value for money and are one of the hidden gems in our portfolio.
