| Château L’Ecuyer was purchased by the Petit family, owners of Château Tournefeuille, in 2004. It is located not far from the church of Pomerol, up on the high plateau. The excellent clay and gravel soils are capable of producing profoundly elegant wines; this 2004 vintage, the first under the new ownership, and made in the château's recently built winery, was aged in 100% new French oak barriques. |
