This domaine has only been in existence since the 1970s when Michel, the current owners father, leased 9 hectares of vineyard. Today the domaine is made up of 12 hectares and is owned and run by Stephane Briday, one of the new generation of Burgundian winemakers who is gradually building an enviable reputation for his wines.
Stephane produces modern, elegant, aromatic and fruity wines from his vineyards which are located in the far north of the Côte Chalonnaise in the village of Rully. The vineyards cover 4 lieux-dits - La Bergerie, Saint Jacques, Chaponnières and Le Cré - which each add their own unique characteristics to the domaines wines. Careful wine making ensures that these wines are approachable in their youth but also reward a few years cellering and represent exceptional value for money.
