This small family estate, now run by brothers Vincent and Francois, was established in the early 1820s. Located in the village of Chassagne-Montrachet, the estate covers almost 12ha with 10ha in the Chassagne-Montrachet village appellation and a tiny parcel of Batard-Montrachet Grand Cru. The Jouard brothers are passionate about viticulture and most vineyard tasks are carried out by hand. They avoid the use of chemical products and pride themselves maintaining their vineyards in the most environmentally friendly way. |
