Domaine Perraton Frères (formerly known in Domaine René Perraton) is located in the village of Chaintre and has seven hectares of vineyards extending over the hillsides of Chaintré, Vinzelles and Loché. It is run by Frank and Christopher Perraton, who took over from their father in 2003 (hence the name change).

After a difficult but very successful start in 2003, when they anticipated the problems caused by the drought and brought in cooling tanks, they have begun to make their mark on the wines and go from strength to strength.  The domaine produces highly aromatic Chardonnay across the appellations of Mâcon Loché, Mâcon Vinzelles, Mâcon Chaitré, Pouilly Vinzelles and Pouilly Fuissé. These wines, produced entirely without oak, are pure, complex and display the very distinct characteristics of each appellation. With each vintage, we have found the difference between appellations even more marked and expect great things in the future.

They have also begun to produce a high quality crème de cassis made using their own blackcurrants, unlike many, which are made from concentrate. Its flavour is pure and concentrated and is the best example of a crème de cassis we have ever tasted.
